RT-2 Transmitter

What happens when there is a power failure?
Dog Guard has backup batteries available for purchase. These ensure that your system remains operational for hours while the power is restored. Backup batteries can be installed initially with your system or bought and added on at a later point.
How many pets can I have on a system?
The Dog Guard system is designed to expand along with your needs. Each dog wears their own receiver collar, so really there is no limit.
We have a customer who has more than 25 dogs on the same system, all contained within a three-acre area. The system can work for up to 50-acres — that's tried and tested.
Can the same fence work for both large and small dogs?
Yes. Each dog wears a receiver collar, that’s appropriate to its physical size. This sends out the correction stimulus or audible warning for each dog accordingly, making the system safe for all dogs at the same time.
